1. Read customer testimonials before you buy anything. People are delighted to complain about bad service online, so try to find sites and testimonials which are terrible so you know what you're getting into. You need to take bad reviews using a grain of salt, but if you see many, you know there is a problem.
2. Sign up for your preferred online stores' newsletters. Many times online stores will be sending out daily, weekly or monthly newsletters with special sales, discounts and deals. If you like to save money, you might be able to score some terrific deals on items you were going to purchase anyway.
4. Do not spend too much funds on shipping. Shipping charges can really add up. Many sites offer free shipping, free shipping once you spend a certain amount, or use a coupon code that permits you to get free freight. Instead of paying your hard earned cash on shipping, look for a store that ships for free.
5. Be suspicious of overdoing it. It is much easier to overspend when you are shopping online. You begin to rationalize that you can spend more money for those shoes because you saved money on gas and the food you would have gotten should you went to the mall, as an example. Give yourself a limit and follow it.
